DesOremeaux enjoyed working with Estonians. I've seen trauma patients in the US treated similarly. Estonian nurses and doctors discussed trauma flow. We saved lives despite language barriers.

Global Health Engagement helps U.S. soldiers understand Estonian medical practices and join multinational teams. Hedgehog is vital for regional stability and security. GHE helps U.S. and Estonian soldiers accomplish NATO missions and respond to medical emergencies.

Estonian doctor Gustav Klimusev operated on U.S. soldiers during training. Kilmusev was able to describe a multi-cultural medical setting from his time in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Klimusev concluded that foreign trauma experience benefits doctors. More integration means higher NATO readiness.

Estonia is a great place for NATO allies and regional partners to conduct GHE initiatives. Hedgehog illustrates medical ties with Estonians.
