Uruguay reports 9,389 fresh covid cases and 11 deaths 

From 05/22/2022 to 05/28/2022, Uruguay has reported 9,389 fresh covid cases and 11 deaths.

There were 925,777 COVID-19-positive cases and 7,238 COVID-19-positive fatalities between September 1 and May 28, 2022. The total number of active cases until May 28, 2022, is 8,036.

During the week, 39,795 tests were done and 20.5% of them returned a positive result.

Around 3.9% of ICU beds are occupied by COVID-19 patients as of May 28, 2022. To date, 10 individuals have been admitted to the hospital with positive results for COVID-19: three in a private health care provider room, three in a private health care CTI, and four in a public health care facility.
