Since June 1, it has been prohibited in Turkmenistan to wear masks in public, however they are encouraged for use in confined locations and on all means of transportation.

The Information Center of Turkmenistan's Ministry of Health and Medical Industry announced this today. The content of the message can be seen on the official website, turkmenmetbugat.gov.tm, as well as in the journals "Turkmenistan" and "Neutral Turkmenistan."

After examining WHO reports and analysing news headlines about the world's condition deteriorating owing to the outbreak, experts from Turkmenistan's State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service came to this conclusion. As a result, many nations are gradually reducing their precautionary measures.
