India had a one-day rise of 3,962 coronavirus infections and 26 deaths, according to numbers released by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday, increasing the total to 4,31,72,547 cases and 5,24,677 deaths.

According to numbers updated at 8 a.m., the number of active cases across the country increased by 1,239 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 22,419. Six of the 26 new fatalities have been recorded in the previous 24 hours, with Kerala reconciling the remaining 20. According to the health ministry, active cases account for 0.05 percent of all infections, while the country’s overall COVID-19 recovery rate is 98.73 percent.

The daily positive percentage was 0.89, and the weekly figure was 0.77 percent, according to the health ministry. This incident had a death rate of 1.22 percent. The active COVID-19 caseload climbed by 1,239 cases in just 24 hours.

The number of people who have recovered from the illness has grown to 4,26,25,454 according to the data. The total number of pills distributed in the country as part of the statewide COVID-19 vaccination initiative has topped 193.96 crore, according to the ministry. India’s COVID-19 tally topped 20 lakh on August 7, 2020, and 50 lakh on September 16, 2020.
