In addition to the collection of cash, the Monaco Red Cross is making its experience in crisis management available on a worldwide as well as a local scale.

In the midst of the excitement, a group representing the Monaco Red Cross makes their way out onto the field.

On the morning of Wednesday, April 20th, a group from the Monaco Red Cross boarded a plane and headed to Romania. As part of the establishment of a logistics center in Suceava, this activity is being carried out in collaboration with the Italian Red Cross (IRC).

The Monaco Chapter of the Red Cross has organized a fundraising effort to assist those whose lives have been disrupted by the violence in Ukraine.

As soon as the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement issued a call for contributions in response to the armed conflict in Ukraine, the Monaco Red Cross, in solidarity with the Movement, promptly replied by collecting cash for individuals who had been harmed by the fighting. It has been determined that there is a total of 1,560,000 euros in available funding.

Out of these funds, 600,000 Euros have been allotted to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to be used for emergency relief, the repair of essential infrastructure, the supply of healthcare facilities with medications and equipment, and the assistance of families with food, water, and sanitary supplies.

The International Federation for the Red Cross (IFRC) has been given the equivalent of €350,000 to assist refugees who are being affected by the turmoil in the region. The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is offering assistance to some of the most vulnerable people on the planet, including children who are orphaned or separated from their families, elderly people, and people with disabilities.

In addition to efforts taken on a global scale, a number of initiatives on a regional scale, in which the Red Cross plays a role, have been carried out, including the following:
