China donates Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines and syringes to Myanmar, with the first five million doses arriving at Yangon International Airport. The first five million doses of Sinopharm's COVID-19 vaccine and two million syringes of a total donation of ten million doses of COVID-19 vaccine and 13.056 million syringes to Myanmar for COVID-19 prevention activities arrived on May 18 at Yangon International Airport and were met by appropriate officials.

Five million COVID-19 vaccine doses and syringes will be distributed on May 28 and 29. Five million Sinopharm vaccination syringes will be distributed on May 19, bringing the total to ten million. These immunizations and syringes will be used to immunise youngsters against infections once the school has returned for the year.

Other countries have given 15.4 million COVISHIELD doses, 26.7 million Sinopharm doses, three million Sinovac doses, 0.6 million Sputnik-V doses, and one million Myancopharm doses to the Ministry of Health. The total quantity of COVID-19 vaccine doses collected from foreign nations now stands at 46.7 million.

Sinopharm delivered their first cargo. Two million syringes and COVID-19 vaccines were sent to Yangon International Airport on May 18.

The Ministry of Health has already received 25.48 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccination that were manufactured in other countries and administered in other countries.
