Over the past week, 40 people died owing to COVID-19-related complications, while the number of vaccinated individuals has reached 6,410,059.

The number of people who have been immunized is now 6,410,059. Out of this number, 6,196,483 have already received their second vaccination while 3,877,866 and 300,266 have done so with their third and fourth booster shots.

Over the last week, 2,063 new cases were detected, bringing the tally of infected persons identified since the start of the outbreak to 1,919,840.

The 40 deaths were mostly elderly, long-term patients, bringing the total number of fatalities to 46,547. The number of recovered individuals continues to rise, now standing at 1,847,746 people. Hospitals are treating 362 patients with coronavirus, including 13 on ventilators. Currently, active infections stand at 25,547.
