Even though people are no longer required to wear masks, covid is gradually becoming less obvious. On Monday, there is a marginal rise in the incidence rate, but then it returns to its previous level.

A little over a week ago, the Principality made a decision that will benefit its citizens: they will no longer be required to wear masks in public.

It would seem that the Covid-19 epidemic is now in the history books. Since the beginning of May, there have been no reports of any fatalities, and the Princess Grace Hospital Centre is now caring for just five patients, none of whom are in the critical care unit.

This week’s incidence rate came in at a total of 271 cases. Just so you don’t forget, it was 433 before the month started, but it dropped to 207 the previous week.

There has been a total of 12,124 infections caused by the COVID virus, and 57 individuals have lost their lives as a result. At the end of April, Monaco reached a vaccine coverage rate of 68.1 percent, with a full immunization schedule.
