There were 149 active Covid-19 cases in Nepal as of Friday, up from 11 verified cases the day before. Infections across the country have now reached 979,051, but the death toll has stayed at 11,952 as of today due to no new cases being reported.

After 12 discharges today, there have been 966,950 coronavirus recoveries. According to the most recent health ministry figures, 2300 PCR testing and 574 antigen tests were done in the last 24 hours in hospitals and health centers around Nepal. There have been 5,681,987 PCR tests to date. No antigen testing was positive in the previous 24 hours.

Covid-19 recovery in Nepal is 98 percent, with a 1.2 percent death rate. There are currently no quarantined Nepalese residents.
