The Timor-Leste Ministry of Health and Liquisa City Hospital hosted a free health clinic for the ninth batch of Chinese medical aid teams in East Timor on May 28. The primary goals of this free clinic are medical care and the surrounding area. In this free clinic, traditional Chinese medicine is used to treat conditions including osteoarthritis and chronic heart disease.
On the same day, the medical team delivered free clinic services for more than 100 local patients in addition to distributing the necessary drugs. Gomes and Silva, two Timor-Leste officials from the health ministry, wished to express their profound gratitude to the Chinese medical team for its aid in Liquiza's medical and health efforts, respectively. By working with the Chinese team, Silva intends to share knowledge of Chinese medicine in his own community.
