On Saturday morning (June 4), the Ministry of Public Health said that 3,001 more individuals in the country had tested positive for Covid-19 in the preceding 24 hours.

Thirty people have died, while 3,813 people have been healed and freed from hospitals.

There have been 2,240,122 incidents in the country since January 1, 2022.

In total, 4,463,557 persons in the country have been impacted by Covid-19; 4,399,358 have recovered, 34,056 are still in hospitals, and 30,143 have died.

Separately, another 16,589 people got their first Covid-19 shot in the last 24 hours, 41,546 got their second shot, and 73,760 got a booster, bringing the total number of Covid-19 vaccine doses distributed in the country to 138,103,194.

Worldometer recorded 534.85 million confirmed cases worldwide on Saturday, of which 505.63 million had recovered, 22.9 million ongoing illnesses (36,693 in serious condition), and 6.32 million deaths (up by 1,161).

After the United States (86.45 million), India (43.17 million), Brazil (31.14 million), France (29.6 million), and Germany (29.6 million), Thailand is placed 24th in the world in terms of the number of instances (26.51 million).
