Milan Laurencik, a visiting Slovak National Council Deputy Speaker, stated yesterday that Taiwan is a far more important economic partner of Slovakia than China.
He thanked Taiwan for donating 700,000 masks to Slovakia during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
During a recent outbreak in Taiwan, the prime minister thanked Slovakia for donating 160,000 AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine doses.
Su stated that the two countries would assist each other in times of need.
