His Highness President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed a delegation from the Department of Health-Abu Dhabi (DoH), led by Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohamed Al Hamed, Chairman of the Department of Health and a member of the Executive Council, on Wednesday.
Sheikh Mohamed was briefed on the Department of Health’s plans and programs. He praised the UAE’s health authorities for their efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The team members were ecstatic to meet Sheikh Mohamed and praised him for his contributions to the medical field. The Department of Health seeks to strengthen the emirate’s international status as a major healthcare destination, a center for healthcare innovation, and an important regional and international platform for international cooperation in community health.
In 2021, Abu Dhabi will also lead the world in handling the COVID-19 outbreak, serving as a paradigm for preserving the community’s health, safety, and commercial sustainability. It also demonstrated the country’s health system’s persistence, agility, and willingness to deal with emergencies and impediments.
