On Sunday, the Saudi Ministry of Health verified 467 new cases of COVID-19. As a result, there were 763,042 cases in the kingdom during the pandemic. The deaths of two further victims have also been confirmed by officials, bringing the total number of COVID-19 fatalities to 9,130.

There were 133 new diseases in Jeddah, 119 in Riyadh, 48 in Madinah, 41 in Dammam, and 40 in Makkah. In several other cities, there have been fewer than 20 new cases.

At least 77 people are currently in critical condition, according to authorities. In addition, 493 COVID-19 patients have recovered, bringing Saudi Arabia's total number of recoveries to 747,492.

In the preceding 24 hours, a total of 23,416 PCR tests had been performed, bringing the overall number of PCR tests done to more than 42 million.

More than 65 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been distributed since the start of the Kingdom's immunization programme, resulting in the vaccination of over 25 million individuals.
