Covid-19: 1,201,196 children in Malaysia fully vaccinated

1,201,196 or 33.8% of Malaysian children aged 5 to 11 had completed the National Covid-19 Immunization Programme for Children (PICKids) as of Sunday.

Approximately 48.8% of the population has received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine according to data on file at the CovidNow website.

3,010,110 or 96.8 percent of 12- to 17-year-olds have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, while 2,914,970 or 93.7 percent have completed their vaccinations.

68.5 percent of adults in the country have got their booster doses, whereas 97.7 percent of adults have completed two doses and 98.9 percent have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

On Sunday, a total of 4,254 doses of a Covid-19 vaccine were administered, including 610 as the first dose, 3,068 as the second dose, and 576 as a booster dose, bringing the total number of vaccines managed under the National Covid-19 Immunization Programme to 70,987,758.

In Sarawak and Selangor, two deaths were reported yesterday, as per the Health Ministry's GitHub portal.
