The number of new COVID-19 cases that were reported in South Korea on Monday was approximately 6,100, which is the lowest daily number seen in the past four months.

In comparison to the number of illnesses recorded the day before, we saw a decline that was greater than fifty percent.



The majority of the drop that was seen on Monday can be attributable to the fact that fewer tests were carried out over the course of the weekend.



One hundred seventy-eight persons were reported to be in critical condition, which is fewer than the previous number.



Nine more deaths were verified to be connected to the incident in South Korea.
