The previous day, 1,866 people in Russia were hospitalized with COVID-19, a 181.9 percent increase from the day before. The number of hospitalized patients decreased in seven districts while it increased in 71. At seven additional locations, the status quo was maintained. The day prior, 600 people were taken to the hospital.
The number of COVID-19 cases in Moscow surged from 189 to 2,772,365 the day before, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center. As of the previous day, there were 1,531,391 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in St. Petersburg, a 251-case rise.
