According to the national coronavirus information center, there have been 18,283,706 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Russia, with 378,168 deaths. At least 995,000 people have died as a result of the coronavirus pandemic in Russia. Only half of the population has received all of the recommended vaccines.

In Russia, there were 137,642 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours, with 785 deaths. Starting Monday, Russians and foreigners can apply for a coronavirus QR-code health pass based on the results of an antibody test.

According to Latvian officials, a negative PCR test from a Russian tourist will let them enter the nation beginning on March 1. Until recently, entrance into Latvia needed a European immunization certificate. Despite the country's unwillingness to grant tourist visas, anyone having Schengen visas is nevertheless welcome in Latvia. Russians with a negative PCR test will be able to enter Austria beginning on February 22nd, according to Austria's tourist ministry.
