After accounting for the global COVID-19 scenario, and especially in Chad, CNAL-COVID 19 has notified the country that all preventative measures adopted to date to fend off the disease, including social distance and mask-wearing, have been withdrawn nationwide.

However, masks are still required for health care personnel in clinics and hospitals. As a precaution, the Chadian government recommends that all citizens get vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to protect themselves and also to avoid transmission of the disease.

However, if a new outbreak of COVID-19 is found to occur in the Republic of Chad, it is important to know that all of the lifted precautionary measures by the government will be re-implemented.
