Many Qatari organizations and institutions were represented, including the Qatar Red Crescent Society, Qatar Foundation, Hamad Medical Corporation, International Labor Organization, Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, Public Works Authority, Ashghal, and others.

One of the numerous sessions during the conference focused on improving worker safety and health at work, and there was also a panel discussion about how the World Cup could be utilized to raise health awareness among manual laborers and craftsmen. Dr. Saleh Ali Al-Marri, Assistant Minister for Health Affairs, believes that this conference is critical to raising productivity and promoting employee health and well-being.

The aim of the second national health plan, which expires in 2022, is to improve health care by addressing a diverse variety of demographics. To make the necessary progress toward the Qatar National Vision 2030, the third National Health Strategy is being prepared concurrently with our important successes. Even though we have made health in all policies a strategic priority, we will continue to engage with all stakeholders to achieve our ambitious goals, particularly those related to worker health and well-being.

Asmaa Al Nuaimi, NHS National Lead for Healthy and Safe Employees, highlighted the Health and Safety Workers Priority in the National Health Strategy 2018-2022, noting that these accomplishments were achieved in collaboration with all stakeholder groups, such as the Integrated Healthcare Pathway for Craftsmen and Manual Workers, guidelines for occupational health assessments, and the Occupational Safety & Health Database.

Dr. Asmaa Al Nuaimi congratulated all ministries, organizations, and individuals that worked selflessly for Qatar. It is critical to build a preventative culture to sustain Qatar's health strategy in the long run. As part of Qatar's National Health Strategy 2018-2022, these and other organizations have developed several health programs aimed at improving their employees' health and well-being.
