Emirates Health Services (EHS) has introduced a new bunch of integrated medical and treatment services at its primary healthcare centres. The services align with international best healthcare practises, use advanced technology and artificial intelligence (AI) applications, and are delivered by highly experienced medical and nursing staff.
The services include disease prevention and timely detection, treatment of non-communicable diseases like diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol and evidence-based maternity care.
EHS Primary Health Care Director Dr Aisha Muhammad Suhail said, “Our primary healthcare centres provide treatment services that meet international standards, administering medical exams with AI-powered devices. High-skilled medical and nursing staff make this possible.”
“Emirates Health Services is committed to supplying all of its facilities with the most advanced medical technologies, according to its strategy to transform the treatment process and medical tests, attend patients’ needs and make sure of customer satisfaction, promote quality and pioneering practises, and establish a healthy society,” Dr. Suhail said.
EHS primary healthcare services provide top-quality pregnancy care, including ongoing care throughout the different months and stages of pregnancy, as well as comprehensive medical exams and laboratory tests, foetal radiography, health education and breastfeeding awareness, nutrition advice during pregnancy, and prescription of supplementary and treatment medicines, as needed. Most EHS-affiliated healthcare and family health centres offer services.
25 of Emirates Health Services’ healthcare centres offer premarital counselling and tests. Couples are tested for genetic, infectious, and STI blood diseases with the test results being kept confidential.
All these services are being offered in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.
EHS emphasised the importance of testing engaged couples to educate them about a healthy marriage and limit the spread of genetic blood diseases like thalassemia and sickle cell anaemia. It also helps prevent social and psychological problems in families, which affect children most. Premarital counselling reduces the financial burden of patient care on families and society.
Emirates Health Services developed a new bundle of advanced health services and provided them through virtual clinics to improve efficiency, better customer liking, and permit the public to avail its privileged services.
