The document also highlighted that Madeira has 1.18, the Azores has 1.21, the Algarve has 1.12, the Alentejo has 1.09, Lisbon and Vale do Tejo has 1.20, the Center has 1.06, and the North has an Rt of 1.12.
Since April 26, the rate of the Rt – which projects the count of secondary infections emerging from each patient infected by the virus – has been higher than 1.
According to the data published today, the mean count of daily infections within five days increased from 22,805 to 29,101 in Portugal, while remaining noticeably smaller on the mainland (27,851).
