As of Thursday, 1,142,104 children aged five to eleven had received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine as part of the PICKids (National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme for Children).
According to the Malay Mail, 1,693,589 children had received at least one dose of the vaccine, accounting for 47.7% of the population.
A total of 2,911,511 teenagers aged 12 to 17 have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, with 3,008,137 receiving at least one dose.
In the adult population, 16,090,222 people (68.4%) have had the booster shot, whereas 22,973,842 people (97.6%) have had both doses and 23,250,188 people (98.8%) have had at least one dose of the vaccination.
Three deaths were recorded in COVID-19-related news on Thursday (May 26th), two in Johor and one in Perak.
