Hanoi — Vietnam stated on Thursday that 1,088 new COVID-19 cases have been reported across the country, with one death.
There were 910 transmissions in the neighbourhood, and all of the new cases were domestic.
With 238 new infections each day, Hanoi was the city with the highest daily case count, followed by Bc Ninh Province with 116.

In the prior days, the province of Qung Ninh recorded an additional 1,120 infections.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, the national caseload has grown to 10,722,634.
In the province of Qung Ninh, one death has been reported.
COVID-related deaths have already reached 43,080 in Vietnam, accounting for 0.4% of all illnesses.
A total of 5,820 patients have been given the all-clear, bringing the overall number of people who have recovered to 9,477,660.
COVID-19 vaccinations have been provided in excess of 221.5 million doses in the country to date, with over 4.6 million doses given to children aged 5 to 11.
