On May 27, Covid-19 infections in Algeria increased slightly

There have been 265,870 infections, 6,875 deaths, and 178,406 recoveries since the Coronavirus arrived in Algeria in March 2020. With fewer than ten cases per day, daily infections have remained relatively stable.

The Ministry of Health's Covid-19 report, released on Friday, May 27, 2022, reports six (6) new Coronavirus contaminations identified in the last 24 hours, up from two (2) contaminations reported yesterday. The number of infections per day is slightly higher than the previous day's total, but it still falls short of the symbolic ten per day threshold.

The Friday balance sheet includes six (6) new cases of healing, in addition to the one (1) case of recovery reported yesterday, according to Minister Abderrahmane Benbouzid's office.
