According to the Ministry of Health, 1,275 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the last 24 hours, including one imported case, from 4 p.m. on May 25 to 4 p.m. on May 26.

With 309 cases on the day, Hanoi was still the city with the most infections, followed by Vinh Phuc with 92 and Nghe An with 83.

The total number of votes cast in the country was 10,714,008.

On May 26, a total of 7,223 COVID-19 patients were given the all-clear, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 9,422,085.

There are 169 people who require breathing assistance, but no deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours. The overall number of people killed was 43,078.

By May 25, the country had injected a total of 220,141,209 doses of COVID-19 vaccine, including 3,796,182 first doses and 153,195 second doses for children aged five to twelve.
