The Health Ministry stated that no fatalities from Coronavirus have been reported in El Salvador during the first 2 days of June.
As per the Department of Health this day, the recently concluded month of May will finish as the season with the least mortality from Coronavirus in El Salvador, accumulating a total of 27 days without losses related to the disease.
Considering this, the Department of Health continues to encourage the public to keep biosecurity steps to prevent disease transmission and to obtain COVID-19 immunisation doses to boost their defences against the virus.
According to government statistics from the Department of Health, there have been 162,755 verified COVID-19 cases in El Salvador, among which 158,278 have been cured and another 345 are actually ongoing. In terms of disease-related deaths, the nation has a total of 4,132.
