Germany removes entry restrictions for the COVID-19 summit.
On June 11, 2022, all COVID-19-related limitations by German entry were eliminated. Eswatini, Lesotho, and Mauritius are all able to travel to Germany (including tourism and visits). To enter Germany, there is no vaccination, recovery, or testing required.
Travel visas for Germany are issued by German diplomatic missions in South Africa. Visa delays may occur due to high demand.
Visas for short-term stays of up to 90 days can be obtained at the German TLS Visa Application Centers in South Africa up to one month before the scheduled departure date.
