Ethiopia has relaunched its COVID-19 immunization campaign.
There has been a rise in the number of patients who have been admitted to the intensive care units in Ethiopia during the last month, according to the state-affiliated Fana Broadcasting Corporation.
The state minister argued that the virus's dynamic nature and citizens' inability to take adequate safeguards are to blame for the last month's high infection rate. Hence the need to revisit the topic of immunization in Ethiopia.
As of Saturday, the East African nation has administered more than 29.7 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccines.
