On Sunday, Nepal reported nine new PCR-confirmed coronavirus cases, increasing the total number of illnesses in the country to 979,127. According to the Ministry of Health, three people tested positive for antigens out of a total of 990 tests.

On Sunday, 5,699,370 PCR tests and 1,193,697 antigen tests were completed. The Ministry of Health reported that 2,366 PCR tests had been performed in the previous 24 hours.

There have been no Covid-19-related deaths in the country in the last twenty-four hours, according to the Health Ministry. The death toll in the United States has grown to 11,952 since the outbreak began.

To date, 967,065 people have recovered from the disease, with 13 recovering in the previous 24 hours, according to the ministry. There are currently 110 active cases. Four infections were discovered in Province 1 in the last twenty-four hours, three in Bagmati and two in Gandaki.

Nepal reported five more PCR-confirmed coronavirus illnesses on Saturday. Similarly, eight new PCR-confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Friday, followed by 14 new PCR-confirmed coronavirus cases on Thursday.
