Nepal recorded 979,040 new cases of coronavirus infection as of Thursday. Following the completion of 2580 RT-PCR tests over the previous twenty-four hours, six cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection were discovered.
There have been no positive results in any of the 1,047 antigen tests in the last twenty-four hours. When the COVID-19 virus was confirmed as the source of their symptoms, around 150 people were isolated in their homes.
In other COVID-19-related news, nine persons who were being treated in a hospital or at home were recently confirmed virus-free. In Nepal, there have been 966,928 cases of effective recovery, marking a 98 percent success rate.
On Thursday, the MoHP did not disclose any deaths due to COVID-19, bringing the overall number of deaths to 11,952.
