The number of coronavirus infections in Namibia increased by 551 yesterday.
Among those infected are 129 pupils, 21 healthcare staff, 16 instructors and 17 students.
The Health and Social Services Minister Kalumbi Shangula revealed this today.
“Instances have been recorded from 12 areas, with the Khomas region reporting the most cases (45,4%),” the minister added.
Shangula further said that the nation had zero fatalities associated with the coronavirus and 84 .
He went on to say that 73 persons are presently hospitalised with Covid-19, with five of them in critical care units.
