May 22nd, Yangon (Myanmar): According to the Ministry of Health on Sunday, Myanmar has fully vaccinated more than 25.8 million people, As of Saturday, COVID-19 had a population of almost 46 percent of the country's population.

According to the ministry, approximately 59.02 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been provided, with over 1.9 million patients getting booster shots.

Myanmar has reported 3 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases in the country to 613,222.

According to the ministry, 6,064 people were tested for COVID-19 in the previous 24 hours, with a daily positivity rate of 0.05%.

The country's COVID-19 death toll remained at 19,434 as no additional deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the ministry's records.

Official data showed that the overall number of patients who recovered from COVID-19 in the country had reached 592,186 as of Sunday, after 12 more people recovered in the previous 24 hours.

Myanmar's first COVID-19 infections were discovered in March 2020.
