The Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) announced in their statement that almost 15,000 persons were vaccinated against Coronavirus during the first week of an intense immunisation drive conducted by the North and Northeastern Departments.
The MSPP also announced that the COVID-19 immunization in the North and Northeastern region has reached a very successful end.
The MSPP also advises people to be vaccinated at the ministry’s designated vaccination locations. According to the statement, many MSPP agents have been deployed to combat the virus, including the most recent virus (Omicron), by conducting vaccination drives.
The Ministry also urges unvaccinated people to get immunised so they may be protected from Covid.
