Getting afflicted with monkeypox provides a very minimal danger to the general population of Greece, in accordance with existing statistics, said the Committee for National Vaccination of Greece this Tuesday. 

Furthermore, the disease’s epidemiological and clinical aspects give no data that warrant any widespread immunization, it was said.

Moreover, Greece’s Pasteur Institute said the diagnostic division, as well as the Measles and Rubella Laboratory, are all on alert mode to detect skin-rash infections like monkeypox.
