As another patient died, 92 more Covid-19 cases were recorded. Health officials confirmed 92 new instances of Covid-19 on Tuesday, with one Covid-19 patient dying in the preceding 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 158 individuals have recovered from the illness, raising the total number of active cases to 1,692. In the previous 24 hours, 1,311 swab tests were performed, resulting in a positive rate of 7%.

After the 2022 general election in March, the Health Ministry does not post daily bulletins on social media carrying information on the epidemic in Malta.

The COVID-19 Public Health Response Team of the Health Ministry is continuing publishing data on an opensource database on the platform GitHub, albeit crucial specifics, such as the number of positive Covid-19 cases in hospitals and information about persons who died, are not included.

The virus has been detected in 94,205 people in Malta. 719 have died, while 91,398 have recovered.
