Malaysia has experienced 4,502,579 verified COVID infections as of Saturday night, an increase of 1,645 over the previous night, As per the health ministry. According to data published on the ministry’s website, one new imported instance was reported, with 1,644 local transmissions making up the bulk. The death total has risen to 35,660, with two more deaths confirmed.
There were 1,809 additional recoveries reported by the ministry, bringing the number of recovered and discharged patients to 4,441,701.
Currently, there are 25,218 active cases, 34 of which are in intensive care and 17 of which require breathing assistance.
