As shown in a Saturday statement by Libya’s National Centers of Disease Control, the country saw a median of 5 COVID-19 infections between May 21 and May 26. (NCDC).
During the same fiscal quarter, the NCDC reported an average of four recoveries. There have been no deaths reported.
According to the NCDC, the overall number of COVID-19 patients in Libya has surpassed 50,000 since the outbreak began, with over 495,000 of them recovering.
A total of 6,430 people have died as a result of the infection. More than two million patients received a single dose of the vaccine, whereas more almost one million received two doses.
