Kenya reports 91 cases and 63 recoveries of COVID-19

In the last 24 hours, 91 people out of a total of 2,371 tested positive for COVID-19, increasing the total number of verified positive cases to 324,859. The current positive rate is 3.8 percent, with 3,667,547 tests done.

In the most recent cases, 45 Kenyans and 46 non-Kenyans are involved, as well as 58 men and 33 women. The youngest member is five years old, and the oldest is 77 years old. Nairobi had 82 incidents, while Mandera, Mombasa, Kwale, Nyeri, and Siaya each had four.

Positive examples were found in the age groups 0-9 years (3), 10-19 years (3), 20-29 years (11), 30-39 years (19), 40-49 years (33) 50-59 years (15), and 60 and above (7). 63 people have recovered from Covid-19 thanks to the Home-Based and Isolation Care Program.

There have been 318,524 recoveries, with 265,493 from the Home-Based Care and Isolation program and 53,024 from other health care institutions around the country.

The total number of fatalities is 5,651 due to the disease's absence of fatalities. Deaths occurred in the age groups of 0-9 years (62), 10-19 years (43), 20-29 years (149), 30-39 years (410), 40-49 years (647), 50-59 years (1,029), and 60 years and older (3,311).

There are now four patients in our hospitals, and 599 people are enrolled in the Home-Based Isolation and Care program. There are no patients in the ICU, on supplemental oxygen, or in the High Dependency Unit (HDU) (HDU).
