According to Iraq’s health ministry, the total number of verified COVID-19 cases has risen to 2,326,965, an increase of only 803 Hospitalizations reduced from 1,278 to1,238, while the daily average for fresh cases jumped from 109/day to 115/day for the latest seven days ending on 12th May from a previous seven-day period of 109/day. 10,613,626 persons, including 16,708 who had received their vaccines on May 19, were vaccinated against COVID-19.
