Raed Al-Shboul, the Ministry of Health’s Secretary-General for Primary Health Care and Epidemiology, announced Monday that Jordan had no monkeypox cases. Monkeypox symptoms include fever, headache, muscle aches, and tiredness. Within 1-3 days of acquiring a fever, individuals may acquire a rash. Symptoms resemble chickenpox, syphilis, or herpes. Vesicles on the palms of the hands are another symptom.
Symptoms start 5-27 days after infection, and most recover in two to four weeks.
