The German Embassy in Tunisia announced on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, that Germany’s financial assistance to Tunisia to combat the Covid-19 pandemic has been increased to 94 million euros.
The German government has promised an additional €5.9 million in aid to strengthen the sector through the provision of training and equipment, according to the embassy.
According to the diplomatic representation, the EVAX system will also need to be expanded by introducing a new control and analysis system known as (SORMAS), “which will allow for a database adjournment in real time.”
It was also revealed that “the German government has promised Tunisia an additional five million euros for vaccine logistics.”
