As time passes and new variations emerge, new clinical signs have been introduced or related to Covid-19 disease. Patients are currently experiencing itching throats, severe headaches, a loss of appetite, and, in some cases, nausea and disorientation.

These signs have been added to the virus's original picture, which was more closely linked to a respiratory illness in its early stages in 2020, with fever, chronic cough, as well as breathing difficulty dominating, accompanied by other illnesses such as loss of flavor and aroma, exhaustion, runny nose, and back pain.

Eddy Perez Then, advisor to the Ministry of Health, said as new variations form, new illnesses are connected with the viruses, and that when the original strain was handed down to the alpha and delta versions, other diseases, particularly stomach type, appeared.

"With all these omicron subvariants, people have complained so much about stinging in the neck, which they didn't complain about as much before, and some say the migraine is greater and puking," said the famed researcher, who added that all of this is mere speculation since no research of the current profile of Covid-19 symptoms has been performed in the nation.

"At this point," he added, "we don't have that profile, but we do have some various symptoms, but they're light symptoms that don't necessitate hospitalization."

Natural Course

Perez, Dr. Then they realize that these weaker symptoms lead people to believe that these subvariants of omicron aren't as dangerous as other types, such as delta, and also that the disease is simply following its normal course of diminishing lethality, as it always does.

He reminded us that the Covid-19 virus grows less harmful over time; also, more individuals are vaccinated, and others have had it multiple times, so the situation is different now than it was in the start, making circumstances more difficult for the virus to replicate.

He stated that research is currently being conducted in the country to determine the efficacy of various experimental medicines that can decrease the patient's time of positive from five to three days, allowing them to come back to work earlier.

Congestion in the nose

In May 2021, infection specialists noted that, while symptoms varied from individual to individual, runny nose and throat discomfort, such as those who want to swallow but can't, as well as fever and, in a few cases, loss of smell, were common among Covid-19 virus sufferers.

Affected patients talked of symptoms in December 2020, with signals that included fever, chronic cough, and breathing difficulties being the most common.
