The Ministry of Health and Wellness and Elderly Affairs of Saint Lucia reported on Wednesday, June 3, 2022, that 93 fresh cases of Covid were reported. More than 308 samples were collected on May 31, 2022. Out of the samples collected, 286 came from Ezra Long Lab and 22 from Lab Services and Consultations Limited.
The net positivity rate is 30.2%, taking the total tally of cases to 26,092.
78 patients who were tested positive have recovered and the total active cases are 795.
Currently, the Respiratory Hospital has admitted 31 Covid patients, of which two require intensive care. The vacation drive has inoculated 54,038 people to date.
The partially vaccinated number is 5,323 and 7,493 people have received their booster shot. Wellness Centers will give vaccinations according to the Covid vaccination schedule from 9 a.m to 4 p.m.
