The Ministry of Health and Wellness and Elderly Affairs of Saint Lucia reported on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, that 100 fresh cases of Coivd were reported. More than 320 samples were collected on May 31, 2022. Out of the samples collected, 304 came from Ezra Long Lab and 16 from Lab Services and Consultations Limited.
The net positivity rate is 31.3%, taking the total tally of cases to 25,877.
56 patients who were tested positive have recovered and the total active cases are 699.
Currently, the Respiratory Hospital has admitted 20 Covid patients, of which two require intensive care. The vacation drive has inoculated 54,032 people to date.
The partially vaccinated number is 5,321 and 7,488 people have received their booster shot. Wellness Centers will give vaccinations according to the Covid vaccination schedule from 9 a.m to 4 p.m.
