The Director of Health, Juan José Martnez Garca, announced that the percentage of patients afflicted with SARS-CoV-2 has increased somewhat after the recording of 29 reported infections in the last 24hrs.
The leader of the agency, Governor Miguel Barbosa Huerta, stated in a press teleconference that recent cases are prevalent in 22 towns. He did emphasise, though, that the institution has gone 41 nights without a disease-related fatality.
He also mentioned that there are 11 people in the icu, one of whom requires assistance ventilators.
Since the epidemic is still ongoing, Martnez Garca urged Puebla residents to continue to take care of themselves by washing their hands frequently, using proper sneezing etiquette, and keeping a safe distance.
