The Ministry of Health, Wellness, and Elderly Affairs announced on July 31 that 100 new COVID-19 infections had been confirmed.
On Tuesday, May 31, 2022, these samples were analyzed from a total of 320 specimens, with 304 coming from the Ezra Long Laboratory and 16 courtesy of Laboratory Services and Consultations Limited. May 30 and May 31 2022, were the sample collection dates.
Around 31.3% of the cases sampled turned out positive and this brings the total number of cases in the country to 25,877.
More than 56 patients who contracted the disease have completely recovered. As of now, there are 699 active cases in the country. The respiratory hospital has 20 Covid positive cases, that require intensive care.
The vaccination drive has ensured that 54,032 individuals have been inoculated. Around 5300 people have been partially vaccinated and 7,488 have got the booster shot.
On June 2, 2022, the Wellness Centers have a vaccination drive that is carried out according to the vaccination schedule. Timings are from 9 am to 4 pm.
