The pandemic was still lingering on June 11 when New Democracy's administration exchanged money and an economic return without masks, social distance, or vaccination certificates.

More than 30,000 illnesses and 15 deaths have been reported by the National Organization for Public Health (EODY), with 109 people on ventilators in public hospital ICUs.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of infections in Greece has reached 3,496,807. Kyriakos Mitsotakis has long since retracted his call for all Greeks to be given shots.

Employees who aren't immunized are subject to suspension without pay and even to termination of work contracts, depending on the results of epidemiological investigations.
