The Ministry of Health reported 82 new Covid-19 instances on Sunday, out of a sample size of 2,197 tested in the previous 24 hours.

The country's positivity rate is 3.7 percent. After a total of 3,665,176 tests since March, the total number of confirmed cases in Kenya is 324,768.

Among the new cases are 69 Kenyans and 13 foreigners, with 43 men and 39 women having got the virus.

The youngest is three years old, while the oldest is 88. The illness has been overcome by 15 patients from the Home-Based and Isolation Care Program. The total number of recoveries now stands at 318,461, with 265,430 coming through the Home-Based Care and Isolation program and 53,031 from various health facilities across the country.

The overall number of fatalities remains at 5,651 because no individuals have died as a result of the condition. According to Mutahi Kagwe, Health CS, four patients are now hospitalized at our facilities, with 586 registered in the Home-Based Isolation and Care program.

There are no patients in the ICU, no patients on supplemental oxygen, and no patients in the High Dependency Unit (HDU) (HDU).
