Algeria, like the rest of the world, has learned to coexist with the Coronavirus pandemic since the beginning of 2020. During this time, Algeria has faced four waves of Covid-19. Since mid-February 2022, the number of cases of Covid-19 contamination has decreased dramatically, reaching zero last April.

The total number of confirmed cases is thus 265,853; the number of deaths is 6,875; and the number of patients cured is 178,402, according to new Ministry of Health data.

The Ministry of Health reported four (4) coronavirus infections in the previous 24 hours in its most recent assessment on Monday, May 30, 2022. While there were no cases reported in yesterday's balance sheet. Six (6) cases of recovery are mentioned in the same report.
